We empower service businesses to unlock opportunity and growth with AI.

Why we built
Operating Engine.
We started Operating Engine because we kept seeing the same thing: service business owners who knew AI could help them, but didn't have the time or technical know-how to figure out where to start.
Our mission is to give founder-owned service businesses the technology, financial clarity, operational rigor, and team training they need to grow and unlock new opportunities.
We believe the AI era should be a net job creator — and we think Operating Engine can help make that case. Small businesses employ nearly half of the American workforce and represent 43.5% of America's GDP, according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. As Operating Engine helps these businesses innovate and grow, we believe it can play a real role in proving that AI strengthens teams instead of shrinking them.
The businesses that win in the next decade won't be the ones chasing the short-sighted “win” of cost-cutting. They'll be the ones that use AI ethically and responsibly to do more with the team they have — creating space for innovation and delivering better customer experiences along the way. That's what we're building toward.
